Keitha Blackburn | CMP
Keitha is the Director of Event Management at TCG. She has more than 15 years of meeting and event management experience coupled with an engineering background. Having produced events in several different markets, Keitha has developed creative event concepts for organizations such as Hands On Network, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Minority Health (OMH), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Through her diverse experiences in event management, Keitha has had the opportunity to take on many different congruent roles managing major programs, like OMH’s National Plan for Action to End Health Disparities for Racial and Ethnic Minorities. She served as project director for several CDC programs addressing HIV and AIDS Prevention. In her non-profit life, Keitha has facilitated service and civic engagement programs with major corporate partners such as the Coca-Cola Company, The Home Depot, UPS, Delta Airlines, and USA Networks. Keitha develops excellent relationships with diverse constituencies at all levels and lives out her passion for community service and being a supportive and motivating team member.
Keitha has a duel-degree in industrial and systems engineering from Spelman College and the University of Alabama in Huntsville; a Conference and Meeting Management Certificate from the University of Georgia; and holds the designation of Certified Meeting Professional (CMP).
